9:30PM Use the Quartet Randomizer 5000 to select quartets for the contest. This will give the quartets as much time as they really want to hone and create their best performance before the Saturday 9:15AM contest starts. This will benefit those quartet competitors who find themselves singing with parts that are in more than one quartet and previously had to get squeezed into a half-time preparation situation. This will also benefit people who usually have to beg to leave work early in order to be at AHB at the beginning of the quartet draw at dinner time or miss out.
As people feel comfortable with their quartet's preparedness, attendees will resume getting their Dance Cards filled and “Contest Qualification” cards signed off. The photo board will again be used to help people locate people they don't already know.
