The Atlantic Harmony Brigade was proud to return to Wilmington, DE and stage, once again, one of the finest Barbershop Harmony Shows in the area.
2008’s American Barbershop Harmony Showcase featured the 123-man Atlantic Harmony Brigade Chorus, and barbershop quartets: That’s It, Quatro Singo, On The Road, Down Town and a guest performance of International quartet competitors, Last Kids Picked. The evening also featured: The Diamond State Chorus of Sweet Adelines International.
It was an evening of old fashion, family entertainment and popular American Song. The performances featured popular American songs from the 1920s, '30s '40s, including, among others “You’re Nobody Til Somebody Loves You”, “ Yes Sir That’s My Baby”, “Sweet Loraine, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Sweet Georgia Brown”.
In honor of his accomplishments, this years AHB selections included several special song selections arranged by one of the Barbershop Harmony Society’s most talented, prolific, decorated and beloved members, Freddy King.
