The Atlantic Harmony Brigade was proud to return to Wilmington, DE for an encore performance after its successful 2006 debut.
This American Barbershop Harmony Showcase featured the 123-man Atlantic Harmony Brigade Chorus, and guests included: The Diamond State Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, The Chorus of the Brandywine and a cavalcade of great barbershop quartets, including Chain Reaction and a reunion performance of International quartet competitors, Yankee Dime.
It was an evening of old fashion, family entertainment and popular American Song. The performances featured popular American songs from the 1920s, '30s '40s and today, including songs by Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin & Billy Joel.
The Diamond State Chorus
A special presentation, on behalf of the Association of Harmony Brigades, was made to Kate Waesche, in honor of her late husband, Ed Waesche’s many and extraordinary artistic and leadership contributions to the Barbershop Harmony Society as well as an honored member of the North Carolina Harmony Brigade.
The AHB is a Not-For-Profit subsidiary or the BHS and a 501 (3) (c) and an educational and cultural arts organization.

The
Atlantic Harmony Brigade Chorus included men from 17 states (Connecticut
to California to Florida and Texas to Michigan) under the direction
of 12 barbershop Harmony Society directors, including: George Gipp,
Rick Taylor, Kirk Young, Charlie Ross, Noah Morrison, Larry Triplett,
Chuck Greene, Pat Kelly, Neil Dingle, TJ Barringer, Joe Husstege, Doug
Pratt and Rob Halsey. Wilmington’s own, Neil Keihm deftly acted
as the evening’s The Master of Ceremonies.
